Updates from the Principal

Dear Robertson Families,
Students looked picture perfect for picture day last Friday and it's not to late to turn in picture money.  Robertson Roadrunners are celebrating Red Ribbon Week with activities and dress up days.  Red Ribbon Week started in 1985 as an alcohol, tobacco, drug, and violence prevention awareness campaign, Robertson will be focusing on RESPECT. (look below for a schedule of events).

Today we are focusing on SHARPENING OUR SAWS!! There are four parts of you: Body, Mind, Spirit, & Heart! Think of a way to take care of you today J
Tuesday—Respect Our Differences! Wear MISMATCHED socks!!
There is only one you; therefore, you are valuable & precious! Show how unique and wonderful you are today!
Wednesday—Respect Your Body!! Wear PJs!!
It is vital that we take care of our bodies by eating healthy foods, getting plenty of sleep, and exercising. What are other ways to take care of our bodies?
Thursday—Respect Your Environment!! Wear Green!!
Taking care of others takes a lot of HEART! Take some time to make your environment a better place!
Friday—Respect Your Super Power!! Wear a Super Hero Shirt!!

Your BRAIN is a powerful thing! We are all uniquely and wonderfully made. Have you discovered your super power? 

Early Release this Wednesday
This is a friendly Reminder that it is an Early Release Day this Wednesday.  All students will be dismissed at 12:45.  Please plan accordingly.

Halloween Costumes
Round Rock ISD schools, including Robertson Elementary, does not celebrate or allow Halloween costumes at school.  Please do not send your child to school in a costume.  If they come to school with one on, you will be contacted by school personnel for a change of clothes. Thank you for your help with this.

Literacy Night
Please make plans to attend Literacy Night, each grade level with have an interactive Literacy Game for you to play with your child.  We will also have a raffle that includes the following:
Barnes and Noble Gift Cards
Nook/Kindle Readers
Book Baskets
Skating Passes
Bowling Passes 
Books

Updates From the Principal

Dear Robertson Families,

Thank you to all the Dads that came out for Watch D.O.G. night.  We had a great turnout, we can't wait to see you at school.  Also, we had a great time at the annual Robertson cookout.  We love seeing all of our parents, and our students especially love seeing you up at school.
